Fluorescent bulbs and rechargeable batteries are $1.20 a pound. Picture tube TV sets are 45¢ a pound; flat-screen and other non-picture tube electronics are 25¢ a pound. Call ahead to determine the cost and acceptability of other items. There are also a few free options, operated by other entities, for recycling certain types of electronics.
