Volunteer Clearances

Pennsylvania law requires volunteers who are responsible for the welfare of a child or have direct contact with children to complete 3 separate clearances as part of the volunteering process. The clearances must be no older than 60 months (5 years).

Note: All volunteers having direct contact with children must obtain clearances prior to the start of their coaching season.

There are 4 items you must submit in order to be cleared to volunteer:

1. PA Criminal Background Check
2. PA Child Abuse Clearance
3. FBI Background Check OR Disclosure Statement
4. Selfie/photo of yourself
