[ARCHIVED] Roll Out the Barrel: Liquor license transfer approved

knife and fork

Libations could soon be on the menu at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store on Route 228.

The restaurant, which opened its doors in 2017, now holds a state liquor license following a public hearing and approval at the August 25 Board of Supervisors meeting.

Cracker Barrel takes over a license previously held by Runt’s Roadhouse in Sarver.

Store officials said several Cracker Barrel locations across the country serve alcohol after receiving customer feedback requesting it. The limited menu of beer, wine, and cocktails will be the only change to the menu and store. No bar will be installed, and no other changes to operations will occur.
