After bids for a pickleball building in UPMC Passavant Sportsplex at Graham Park far exceeded expectations, the Cranberry Township Pickleball Association is blowing up their plans.
With more than 1,000 members and a prominent spot in the regional pickleball scene, CTPA has reached capacity at the Graham Park facility. To meet the demand of play, the organization sought bids earlier this year to construct a potential new indoor pickleball facility to the outdoor courts
With construction costs causing high bids, CTPA is now seeking bids for a Pickleball Air Dome to be located adjacent to the current facility. It would allow for year-round play while also providing extra space for the association, which continues to grow.
Bids are due later this summer.
