New amenities could be on their way to the bustling Village of Cranberry Woods development.
A Revised Preliminary Land Development Plan and Final Land Development Plan would open the Village of Cranberry Woods to new business opportunities while also allowing changes for future needs. The Board of Supervisors heard details on the proposal at their February 24 meeting, with consideration scheduled for the March 3 meeting.
The revisions would allow for a Sheetz gas station and canopy near Route 228, as well as a drive-thru bank in that area. A proposed daycare facility with a fenced-in yard and play area would also be added, as would additional restaurant and retail space.
The development also includes a new Cenci’s Restaurant along Fairport Lane that would total 8,750 square feet in size and include ample parking.
The amenities would bring new road infrastructure and sidewalks from Route 228, Franklin Road, and Longtree Way.
The original Master Plan for the Village of Cranberry Woods was approved by the Board in 2009.
