With a fresh new partnership between the Township and the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber in place, the annual Farmers Market grew week-over-week in 2020 despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Township’s Manager of Strategic Planning & Economic Development Kyle Beidler was instrumental in forming that partnership and helping grow the market’s reach, and for that he was honored as the Chamber’s Member of the Month for November.
"Kyle has been the catalyst in developing the relationship between the PNRC and Cranberry Township,” said Jim Boltz, Chamber president.
The Market averaged more than 350 attendees each week, who shopped and supported more than 30 local merchants. Boltz said Beidler’s efforts made those number possible.
“His vision and drive are chiefly responsible for leveraging the strengths of our organization with the township’s in order to better serve our region,” he said. “We are excited to work with him and feel this is just the beginning. He is a great asset to Cranberry Township and the Chamber."
