Several Township departments will be moving on up – and across, and down – as a reorganization of administrative space is underway.
Planning for Township Office renovations has been in the works for several years, but the COVID-19 pandemic changed the approach to layout and utilization of space.
The new plan will now take advantage of existing space through realignment rather than new construction – a move that will save a significant amount of money. The goal of the project is to increase efficiency and collaboration between departments.
During their October 29 meeting, the Board of Supervisors approved the purchase of new office furnishings to replace the existing equipment that is more than three decades old.
The project should be completed in winter 2021.
