With the COVID-19 pandemic impacting the normally joyous back-to-school season, Cranberry Township’s Early Learning Center is open for enrollment while staff is taking pertinent steps and precautions to ensure students’ education and safety are of the highest quality.
With a solid curriculum foundation already in place, staff have turned their attention to focusing on safety protocols aimed at ensuring the curriculum can be offered as safely as possible.
The many added daily precautions will include temperature screenings; limited group sizes; social distancing; and face coverings worn by all staff and students. A strict set of cleaning guidelines, recommended by the CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health, will be followed each day, and a focus will be placed on teaching good hygiene.
A full list and explanation of protocols can be found at cranberry4fun.com/preschool.
A parent-only orientation is scheduled for the week of August 31 to discuss protocols and answer other questions. Student meet-the-teacher events are scheduled for the week of September 8. Pre-registration is required for all events.
Classes begin the week of September 14.
