Major changes aimed at easing traffic and creating more pedestrian-friendly crossings on Rochester Road are part of a plan that is years in the making.
Township staff laid out that plan July 30 for the Board of Supervisors. The first portion of work will take place between Route 19 and Graham School Road and includes intersection improvements and road widening.
A traffic signal will be installed for the Municipal Center and St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, as well as Main Street of the Meeder mixed-use development. These improvements will be funded by the Meeder development.
Work is set to begin in August and continue into 2021.
