The sound of music will be replaced by the sounds of hammers, saws and heavy machinery, as the Rotary Amphitheater expansion project is set to get underway.
The Township Board of Supervisors approved contracts for general and electrical construction during a special morning meeting July 13.
Freedom Enterprises & Associates will perform general construction, while Independent Mechanical will handle electrical work.
Work will begin soon and is expected to be completed before winter.
The work is being done and funded as part of the Cranberry Township Community Chest’s Project of the Year for 2020.
