The staff and board of the Cranberry Public Library want to let you know that we miss you and hope that you are well.
As you likely know, under PA's three phase matrix, Butler County will move to the Yellow Phase on Friday, May 15.
For now, the library will remain CLOSED to the public.
At this time, there is no official opening date for any library in Butler County.
Moving to yellow means that the library staff will be returning to the library to begin preparations for a gradual, phased re-opening. There are a lot of details to work through during this time. We have to plan for your health and safety as well as the health and safety of our library team. We will be following guidelines set forth by state, county, and local officials. It is a lot to coordinate and we ask for your continued patience.
There is some good news: starting on Monday, May 18, the library’s outdoor book drop will be open for you to return items that you currently have checked out. Please note that returned materials will undergo a quarantine period so items may appear on your account for several days after they are returned. All items currently checked out now have a due date of June 15. No late fees will accrue on materials that were originally due during the closure period.
