Sat., March 14, we'll close the library doors at 4:00 PM through March 31. We want to do our part to curb the spread of the coronavirus. However, so many people depend on the library, so we have a plan to continue limited services.
During the closing, several options are available to patrons.
With a valid library card, most online resources are available 24/7. Books, downloadable audio items, and online magazines are available for checkout. Many databases are available to assist with reference inquires. Visit our website homepage, www.cranberrylibrary.org for access to these resources.
Library staff will be available via phone to assist with online resources and questions that patrons may have during this time.
We will offer phone-ahead checkout of up to 5 items. Patrons wishing to take advantage of this service can call the library at 724-776-9100 ext. 1123. Library staff are asking that they have their library card number available and the specific title information ready. Pickup times for items will be Monday – Thursday between 10:00 AM-Noon and 6:00-8:00 PM and between 10 AM -12 noon on Friday and Saturday. This service will not be available on Sundays.
In addition to the closing, all Cranberry Public Library storytimes, events, programs for all ages are cancelled through April 30, 2020.
At this time, the Library anticipates reopening for business on April 1, but will continue to monitor the situation and make appropriate decisions as necessary.
