Public comments regarding a series of proposed changes to the massive 195-acre Park Place development were heard by Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors on September 26. The changes involve Phases 6, 7 and 8 of the development’s Master Plan. The changes to Phase 6 are relatively minor; four single-family home sites will turn into either 6 or 9 townhomes. Phases 7 and 8, however, are major changes involving a complete reconfiguration of planned apartment building sites into townhomes, resulting in a net reduction of 87 units. Morgan Management, the apartment developer, has withdrawn from the project. Ryan Homes will take the sites over to build townhomes. The proposed changes have already been reviewed and accepted by the Planning Advisory Commission. Following the conclusion of testimony, the Board agreed to give final consideration to the developer’s conditional use application at its October 3 meeting.
