Residents who recently expressed concern about the impact of development on Cranberry’s natural environment asked the Board of Supervisors to consider forming an environmental advisory committee. In response, the Board directed staff to research and prepare a recommendation to address that concern. At its May 2 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution that would create an Ad Hoc Environmental Advisory Committee. The Committee will review the potential role of an Environmental Advisory Committee and make a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors by the end of January 2020.
