A Mini Maker Faire – a celebration of the worldwide Maker Movement and a showcase of the Cranberry library’s new Makerspace project – will be held on Saturday, May 11 from 9:00 to 3:00 in the Municipal Center. The free event will be a family-friendly display of invention and creativity for tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, artisans, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, students, and others. Cranberry’s library makerspace is a joint project of Cranberry Township and Cranberry Township Community Chest, with support from a $476,000 Keystone Fund matching grant. Makers from throughout the Western Pennsylvania area have been invited to participate in the Cranberry event.
