Cranberry Township’s Rochester Road Municipal Center will be bathed in blue light each night throughout the month of April, starting April 2. It is doing so in solidarity with World Autism Month, designed to call attention to and increase understanding of autism, which affects an estimated 1 in 59 children in the United States today. The goal of the blue lighting, which includes many buildings, landmarks, and homes throughout America, is to help raise awareness and increase acceptance of people with autism.
