A new Cranberry Artists Network show marking the transition from winter’s darkness into the light of spring will open in the Cranberry Township Municipal Center on Monday, February 27. A reception marking the opening, which is open to everyone, will be held on Wednesday, March 8, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Awards will be announced and refreshments will be served at the opening. Participating artists will display visual interpretations that contrast the mystery of darkness with the clarity of light. The exhibit will remain in place through March 29 and will be accessible to viewers seven days a week.
Artist Claire Hardy, a Sewickley resident whose formal art education was completed in Italy and the Middle East, has been chosen as the show’s juror. She will select the works and award the exhibit’s six prizes.
