Cranberry Township has been honored with three awards for its 2016 communications efforts by the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors, PSATS. The Township received first place for its Social Media as well as first and third places in the contest’s Audiovisual Communications category for two separate video productions. Altogether, 36 townships submitted entries for this year’s annual competition; 21 of them received awards. All entries were judged on the usefulness of information presented and how well the information was communicated to township residents. Overall attractiveness and readability were also factors in judging the awards. PSATS represents the Commonwealth’s 1,453 townships of the second class representing 5.5 million Pennsylvania residents.
