[ARCHIVED] Garbage doesn’t get a break

A quirk of the calendar this year, with both Christmas and New Year’s Day falling on Sundays, means that your trash collection schedule won’t be affected.  So if your regular collection day is Monday, be sure to take your carts out to the curb on Sunday night.  Everyone else should follow their normal weekly routine.  Christmas trees will be collected on your regular collection day during the weeks of January 9-13 and January 16-20.  If your tree is taller than six feet, cut it into four-foot sections.  Remove all ornaments and lights.  No artificial trees, please.
