[ARCHIVED] Ready for summer?

The $1.7 million Waterpark renovation project includes many new water features including; a 500-gallon dump bucket, a spray pad surface, an expansion to the zero-entry depth area, and a climbing wall. Other enhancements include a new heating mechanism, a new water filtration system, and a new timing mechanism for the slide. The swimming pool will also be upgraded to include in-pool benches with “sunbrellas” placed throughout a section of the outer pool area.

“The renovations will make our Waterpark the place to be this summer in Western Pennsylvania. We’ve brought a little bit of the beach right to our community,” said Pete Geis, Director of Parks and Recreation, who oversaw the renovation project. “We are thrilled to offer such an outstanding new Waterpark to our residents,” added Geis.

Gates open to members at 11:15 AM and to the public at 11:30 AM, daily from June 4 through Labor Day. Memberships are available to both residents and non-residents.

This date is a one week delay from the original opening date of Saturday, May 28, due to inclement weather.
