The Cranberry Public Library and Cranberry Genealogy Club are co-hosting a Saturday morning workshop, April 30 at 9 AM. Sue Ennis, local genealogist, will present "Ancestry 101."
Following Sue's presentation, there will be hands-on opportunities for participants to use the library edition of Ancestry.com, a research tool offering the most comprehensive, international genealogical information available online, with billions of records in census data, vital records, directories, photos, and more. The library edition offers researchers access to not only U.S. collections, but also Canadian and U.K. collections, plus military, multimedia and European records. The library edition is only available through a database subscription service, and local genealogists are fortunate to have it available in the library.
Due to the limited number of computers only the first 24 registered will be able to participate in the hands-on segment. There is no charge. 9 AM - 11 AM.
