A library makerspace is a designated area in a library where patrons of varying ages are provided the opportunity to "play, create, innovate, and make using real tools and technologies." Makers may be crafters, mechanics, woodworkers, programmers, or even experimenters of the 3-D printing process - people reconnecting with the idea of do-it-yourself and the creative learning process.
