The former Thyssen Krupp copper and brass building on Park Road, behind Fun Fore All, is in for a major upgrade and re-purposing. #1 Cochran, Western Pennsylvania’s largest auto sales and service organization, is looking to open its sixth collision repair center including this one in Cranberry. At its February 4 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approved the company’s Conditional Use application. The Cochran body shop will employ approximately 30 people and generate extensive improvements to the building and immediate surrounding area. Modifications would involve additional parking, car storage, landscaping and sidewalks, as well as a number of interior improvements.
