Cranberry’s Volunteer Fire Company has been at work for the past 18 months developing specifications for a second aerial ladder truck, to be housed at the Haine Fire Station. The new acquisition, which is expected to be delivered by April 30, 2015, is a component of the Company’s ten-year Facilities and Equipment plan. On April 1, representatives of the Fire Company presented Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors with an overview of the new truck’s design and received approval to solicit bids for its purchase.
