A proposed development in the center of Cranberry will bring a mixed-use, pedestrian friendly hub to the Township.
The Ogle View Development community shopping center and multi-family residential development is proposed for 19.1 acres at the intersection of Route 19 and Ogle View Road.
Featuring small and large retail space, restaurant space with a drive-thru, office space, and 32 multi-family residential units, the development is anchored by a Sheetz gas station and convenience store.
As part of the project, the developer will install street walls, lighting, and landscaping along Route 19 and Ogle View, as well as a pedestrian connection to the existing roundabout on Ogle View. Additional sidewalk will extend toward Progress Avenue.
Portions of Ogle View Road will be widened, new turn lanes on Route 19 will be added, and a new traffic signal is planned for at the intersection of Route 19 and Ogle View Road.
The Board of Supervisors approved the proposal on November 20 following a public hearing.
