There’s progress being made on a long-awaited project at a busy Township intersection.
The Board of Supervisors on April 27 approved a Temporary Construction Easement and Permanent Right of Way Agreement with Progress Place Holdings LP as part of the project.
Work at the intersection of Progress Avenue and Route 19 includes widening of Progress Avenue, traffic signal installation, and a new turning lane.
The Township previously received $300,000 through the Automated Red Light Enforcement Grant Program and $250,000 via a Multimodal Transportation Fund for the signal. The project is in the design phase.
