Two projects updating and improving stormwater culverts in two Township neighborhoods could soon move forward.
At the April 6 meeting, the Board of Supervisors will consider design contracts for projects on Valerie Drive and Pinehurst Drive.
The Valerie Drive project, designed by Penn Environmental & Remediation Inc., would remove and replace an existing retaining wall in the Blue Ridge Estates development. The railroad ties supporting the wall, which are in the Township right-of-way, have deteriorated, necessitating the work.
The Pinehurst Drive project, designed by HRG, includes the installation of a concrete liner on an existing culvert. The repairs would ensure the important stormwater conveyance system remains intact and would remove the need to totally replace the structure.
