A $1.25 million grant that will help to upgrade and expand the Municipal Center will receive formal application.
In December, the Board of Supervisors officially accepted the $1.25 million Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program Award from the Commonwealth for the Municipal Center Modernization project. The grant process requires the Township to submit a formal application requesting the funding, which the Board will consider at the April 6 meeting.
The project aims to modernize the building, which opened in 1991. Work is slated to include expansion of the side parking lot, as well as a modern makeover of the entire facility.
