Improved pedestrian access to North Boundary Park from developments surrounding it was a major focus of upgrades made on North Boundary Road.
The goal of further increasing safety in that area continues as the Township pursues an Actuated Pedestrian Crossing Signal at North Boundary Road and Pinehurst Drive.
Such a signal requires a permit and maintenance agreement with the PennDOT. Via a resolution approved by the Board of Supervisors at their October 28 meeting, the Township upheld its commitments to the agreement with PennDOT, allowing the project to move forward.
