December is expected to bring a blast of winter weather, and Public Works crews are ready to keep Township roads clear.
Residents can help crews by taking a few steps before the snow flies.
Do not park on Township streets. Vehicles may be ticketed and/towed where there is no street parking signage.
Follow the 10-foot rule: Keep basketball hoops, snow forts, parked cars in driveways, and non-permanent seasonal items 10 feet from the edge of the street.
Do not move snow from driveways and sidewalks into the paved street.
Trim trees so that branches do not extend beyond the back of the curb and a minimum of 14 feet in height.
Taking these steps ensure the safety of Township crews and residents and will help keep streets safe and passable.
