Upgrades will be flowing to the Township’s water system along Goehring Road this fall.
Supervisors at their July 30 meeting gave authorization to bid a water line repair and enlargement project along Goehring Road beneath Interstate 79.
The existing 8-inch pipe needs repair, which provides an opportunity to upgrade and replace it with a new 12-inch pipe. This upgrade is in line with other Township efforts to review the need for capacity improvements.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of October.
