A group of individuals tasked with keeping first responders safe while they protect the community were sworn into their roles June 25.
Five new Fire Police Officers joined the ranks of the Township Volunteer Fire Company at the Board of Supervisors meeting.
The oath of office was administered to Jeffrey Ammerman, David Dellinger, Richard Herzog, John Howley and Mark Schall.
In their new positions and as members of the fire company, they will help to control crowds and traffic and provide security during emergencies.
