It took a while to get there, but a series of disagreements concerning how costs are assigned in Marshall Township sewer rate calculations have now been resolved. Cranberry provides wastewater treatment for a portion of Marshall Township as well as a small area of New Sewickley. At its January 31 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approved an amendment to the Intermunicipal Sewage Service Agreement between the two communities that clarifies how costs are assigned in calculating the Marshall rate.
