An agreement to secure needed rights of way in connection with the construction of an underpass beneath Rt. 228 was approved by Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors at its meeting on November 1. The project, known as the MSA Thruway, will carry traffic from the I-79 North exit, as well as from Cranberry Woods, north to Cranberry Springs, Cranberry Crossroads and the stores of Cranberry Commons without ever setting foot on Rt. 228.
