Cranberry has a number of special-purpose boards to independently advise Township staff and Supervisors on a variety of matters. Placements on those boards, commissions and agencies are made by the Board of Supervisors for terms that range from one to four years. Members are selected from local residents who have expressed an interest in advancing the work of their municipal government. At its January 2 meeting, the Board named James E. Beck and Robert Watters to three-year terms on the Building/Fire Codes Board of Appeals; Eric Vollmer and Allyson Mazzoni to three-year terms on the Library Board; Christine Koenig to a four-year term on the Planning Advisory Commission; and Ed Sarver to a one-year term on the Vacancy Board.
