At its May 25 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors agreed to consider final action June 1 on a Township zoning ordinance amendment that would place additional limits on the areas where wireless communication facilities are permitted in the Township. Churches and schools within residential districts, which have previously been exempt from the restriction, would have that exemption eliminated. The purpose of the change is to protect residents from tall tower structures being built adjacent to their neighborhoods.
