[ARCHIVED] Slow down campaign picks up speed

Yard signs and electronic speed monitors are about to go up in 23 Cranberry Township neighborhoods starting June 6, along with increased police patrols. Cranberry’s week-long program is built around a nationwide campaign to raise driver awareness of 25 miles per hour residential speed limits at the end of the school year. A second slow-down campaign is scheduled to take place during the first week of school starting, August 24. Program costs for this year’s campaign have been underwritten by CTCC – Cranberry Township Community Chest, by RJ Property Management, and the Township government. Duane McKee, Assistant Township Manager
