Cranberry will be holding a Public Forum from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday September 29, on updating the Township’s 25-year comprehensive plan. Planners are seeking input from residents and other stakeholders. The 2009 Cranberry Plan, which includes more than 250 action items, covers a broad range of issues affected by local government actions. Significant progress has already been made toward realizing many of the goals identified in the original plan. But input from local residents and other community stakeholders will help Township staff determine how the plan’s policies, priorities and legislative agenda should be updated. A revised comprehensive plan is expected to be presented for the Board’s approval either late this year or early in 2016.
