Agreements between Cranberry and neighboring Seven Fields, Adams Township and Marshal Township, authorizing Cranberry to maintain traffic lights along Routes 228 and 19, were approved at the April 2 meeting of Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors. The agreements, which are renewed annually, provide payments to Cranberry based on the specific number of signals and associated equipment involved at each affected intersection. Signal maintenance is the responsibility of each host municipality. The agreements cover two intersections in Adams, two in Marshall Township, and three in Seven Fields. Inter-municipal agreements covering the two corridors have been in effect since 2006. For more information, contact Assistant Township Manager Duane McKee at duane.mckee@cranberrytownship.org.
