The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, which has extensive land holdings associated with its highway system, has agreed to transfer a quarter-acre parcel to Cranberry Township. The small tract, adjacent to the toll road, will enable Cranberry to build a long-planned walking trail linking Powell Road to Graham Park. At its February 26 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors voted to accept and sign the sales agreement and deed transferring the property to the Township.
