At a hearing before Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors on September 29, Brett Schultz of Weaver Master Builders, the developers of a proposed 72-lot Planned Residential Development on a 51-acre site on rural Darlington Road, along Cranberry’s border with Beaver County, gave testimony and circulated a pattern book concerning their plans. The Glen at Woodside would consist entirely of single-family detached homes, including a number of one-story patio houses to be built by Charter Homes. The entire development, which would connect to neighboring Orchard Park and nearby Blue Ridge Estates with pedestrian trails, is planned to be built in a single phase starting this spring. Schematics of the development include two cul-de-sacs, including one oversize loop with a park feature built into its center.
