There will be no fireworks in Cranberry Township on July 4 this year; instead, our fireworks display will be at 9:30 on the night of Saturday, July 12, as part of the newly reformatted Community Days. So enjoy your Independence Day fireworks at one of our neighboring communities.
But CTAA baseball championships will continue being played on July 4, as they have in years past. And the fund-raising 5K Race for Virginia & Friends Run/Walk will begin at the Jaycee Shelter in Community Park at 8:00 that morning. Proceeds from the race benefit the Pediatric Cancer Research Center of the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
There will be no trash collection on Friday, July 4; that collection will take place one day later. Cranberry’s Municipal Center office will also be closed on July 4.
There will be no Night Swim on Friday, July 4. But on Thursday night July 3, there will be a Red, White and Blue Bash from 9:00 until 11:00 at the Waterpark. Admission: $3.
