Participants in the third annual Community Hoop Shoot Classic, recently held at the Township Municipal Center gymnasium, were honored with trophies by Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors at their May 1 meeting. Township Supervisor Mike Manipole joined with Cranberry Lions Club officers Tim Holt and Tim Roscoe in honoring participants from different age groups for achievements in free throw, dribble and other basketball moves. The Hoop Shoot Classic is a fund-raising project of the Cranberry Lions Club. Proceeds benefit the Club’s Visually Impaired Persons summer camp held in Slippery Rock for children ages 5 to 18.
