Cranberry Township Community Chest will build as many as four outdoor fitness stations in Graham and North Boundary Parks by the start of Community Days, CTCC Board member Cindy Marzock told Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors at their December 5 meeting. The stations will be outfitted with an assortment of exercise machines similar to those used at indoor fitness clubs. The installation will be CTCC’s 2014 community project of the year. Each station will hold as many as 15 pieces of fitness equipment specifically designed to survive Cranberry’s four-season climate. Financing of the project, estimated at $200,000, will be done through a combination of funds from CTCC, revenues from 2013 Community Days events, business donations, and contributions from individuals and family residents.
