Rowan Elementary, Haine Elementary, and Haine Middle Schools will all have Township police officers in their buildings at certain times of day throughout the 2013-14 school year. The security arrangement, which was requested by the school district, stipulates that Cranberry will provide those police officers who sign up for it with four hours of overtime duty each day that school is in session. The agreement, which was ratified by the Township’s Board of Supervisors on August 29, is effective immediately.
