Volunteer Fire Company logoCTVFC is a 100% volunteer organization providing fire and rescue services. The Fire Company created a unique agreement with the Township in 1981, which transferred the assets of the Company to Cranberry Township. As part of the agreement, the Township provides financial support for building maintenance, equipment, and apparatus. In return the professionals of the Fire Company spend their volunteer time training, performing administrative work, and responding to emergency calls.

Being a firefighter requires continuing education and training. The cost for training is reimbursed upon its conclusion. We offer opportunities in administration, firefighting, maintenance, and more. If you are interested in an exciting volunteer opportunity, call 724-776-1196.

This is a unique arrangement in southwestern Pennsylvania, and is a model of cooperation between local government and volunteerism.  Learn more about joining the Fire Company
