1st and 2nd Grade Basketball League

League Description

This co-ed basketball program focuses on the basics along with the fun associated with playing on a team. The hoops are 8 feet high, and a junior basketball will be used for greater success and to promote self-confidence. No scores or records will be kept. Practice and games will be held back-to-back for 30 minutes each on Saturdays. Volunteer coaches are needed.

Volunteer Coaches

  • Youth Basketball Coaches: Consider volunteering as a coach or official. We are in search of volunteers to work with our Pee Wee dribblers ages 5-6; 1st and 2nd Grade Dribblers;8-10 Year Old League; and Preteen 11-13 year old Basketball league. Staff will help you get started. 
  • Volunteers must be at least 16 years old with a general knowledge of the game. All volunteers having direct contact with children must obtain clearances prior to the start of their coaching season.
