Teen Literary Scavenger Hunt

Teens test your scavenging skills and participate in the Library Literary Scavenger Hunt. Sign up by September 22nd. On the 23rd you will be emailed a list of items worth various points that you must find and take a picture with. All photos are due on September 29th! For teens in grades 6-12. Registration Required.

Teen DIY Try your hand at new art techniques and DIY projects 4:00 - 5:00 PM on the following dates:

Teen Book ClubStop by the Teen Zone to discuss the month's book or some of your favorites.

Hot chocolate PartyTweens & Teens! Drop in for this delicious program. Explore different flavor combinations of Hot Chocolate with friends and make some Hot Chocolate treats to take home!

TweenTeen Open Game NightTweens & Teens! Test your gaming skills during our Open Game Nights. This is a drop in program that runs the 1st Thursday of the month from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. Try your hand at various Wii games in the Teen Zone. For tweens and teens in grades 4-12.

Tween Teen String Art String a piece of art! Create an art piece using string and nails on a wood background. We’ll have simple templates or you can try your own.  For tweens and teens in grades 4-12. Wednesday, November 6 at 6:00 PM.  

Registration is required, and space is limited.

Teen Light PhotographyCome explore the practice and magic of light photography. Learn the basics and take home a creation. Presented by Tom Higgs. For teens in grades 6-12. Wednesday, November 13 at 6:00 PM.

Teen Writers club Do you like to write short stories, poetry or prose? Come share your work and get feedback from other writers like you. There will be optional writing prompts and activities and snacks will be provided. For teens in grades 6-12.   Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 PM

TABBe an important part of your community by helping to plan and run library events for kids and teens! Teen Advisory Board members also give Ms. Janae their input for new purchases for the library. Teens receive volunteer hours for all TAB events. For grades 7-12. We meet twice a month typically every other Monday from 4:00 - 5:00 PM.  No registration required.
