Throughout the summer, teens can register online for weekly Make or Take crafting sessions in The Forge. You can stick around and hang out with other teens or leave after completing the craft. No craft will take the entirety of the time in the space.
Can't attend in person? Register for a take home craft kit! Note: some supplies provided during the session will not be provided in the take home kit.
Come to our Teen Read-A-Thon on Wednesday, June 29 starting at noon! Teens in grades 6-12 can pay $5 at the door and read all day with a chance to win prizes. Snacks will be provided! Get volunteer hours and help raise money for the makerspace!
Do you have suggestions for teen programs at the library? Want to have a say in what books and materials are ordered? Need volunteer or service hours? Then consider joining our Teen Advisory Board (TAB)!
Meetings are twice a month on select Tuesdays from 4pm-5pm. No registration required. Contact Miss Janae for more info.
Masks Now Optional For All Library Programs and Storytimes
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cranberry Public Library, along with Cranberry Township, has been monitoring recommendations from the Department of Health and Education, as well as CDC guidelines to determine safety protocols for Cranberry Public Library.
Due to the recent guidance from the CDC and in accordance with township protocols, masks are now optional during all library sponsored programs and storytimes. Those wishing to wear masks may continue to do so. All library sponsored programs are listed on our events calendar.
The Library and Township continue to monitor both state and local guidance and request understanding that protocols and expectations could change. Changes will be communicated via the Library’s website.
