Add some spooky ambience to your residence for Halloween this year! First, get a demonstration of CorelDRAW software and how it can create designs for our laser engraver. Then, watch a demonstration of the laser engraver as it etches a Halloween-themed design into a green bottle. Participants will go home with one Halloween-themed bottle and a fairy light cork stopper to make it light up.
Registration is required. There is a $20 program fee, which must be paid in advance.
Have you been searching desperately for a dish to store your trinkets in? You can create your own clay trinket dish in this two-part class! Participants will use air dry clay, rubber stamps and watercolor paint to create their dish.
Sessions are October 3 and October 17 from 10 am to noon. Participants must attend both sessions.

Masks Now Optional For All Library Programs and Storytimes
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cranberry Public Library, along with Cranberry Township, has been monitoring recommendations from the Department of Health and Education, as well as CDC guidelines to determine safety protocols for Cranberry Public Library.
Due to the recent guidance from the CDC and in accordance with township protocols, masks are now optional during all library sponsored programs and storytimes. Those wishing to wear masks may continue to do so. All library sponsored programs are listed on our events calendar.
The Library and Township continue to monitor both state and local guidance and request understanding that protocols and expectations could change. Changes will be communicated via the Library’s website.
Dream, design, collaborate and create at The Forge
Thanks to generous donors and CTCC, The Forge has now been open for over a year! Similar to makerspaces in our schools, our space features a laser engraver, 3-D printers, computer-controlled cutting machines, an embroidery sewing machine, electronics and a variety of specialized hand tools for crafting.
Library patrons are welcome to register for classes. After demonstrating mastery of the equipment, they will be able to design and create their own projects. Experience isn’t required! We’ll teach you to use the equipment. The Forge offers a safe, creative space to learn, create, explore and come together with other makers.
You can support our Makerspace and make our wishes come true!
