  1. PennDOT Posts Franklin Rd. Plans for Public Review

    January 4, 2021 - January 11, 2021

    The purpose of the project is to increase traffic capacity and improve safety along Franklin Road. The project corridor begins at the signalized intersection with SR 0228 (Mars Crider Road) and continues north to the signalized intersection with T-307 (Peters Road), for a total length of one and a half miles. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2022. The project plans are available for public comment (online only) from January 4- 11, 2021.

    Do you like to write short stories, poetry or prose? Come share your work and get feedback from other writers like you. There will be fun writing prompts and activities For teens in grades 6th-12th. Teen Writers Club also works on the literary magazine “Wordplay” put out in the Teen Zone. Twice a month via Zoom in the fall.

  1. Barbell/Step Intervals - 9:00 AM

    January 7, 2021, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM @ Venango Trail / Fitness Center

    This class will combine the strength of Barbell exercises with the cardio of Step. Barbell (weights, Kettlebells and bands may also be used in place of or in addition to the barbell!) will be used for upper body and step will be used for lower body with lots of core work too!

    January 7, 2021, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Venango Trail / Fitness Center

    Join us for this fun interval training class. You will use a variety of equipment including weights, bands, kettlebells, etc. You can buy your own bands in the office at the MC for a nominal fee. The cardio is Low Impact. Location: Venango Trail Fitness studio in MC. Instructor: Nancy Triscuit

    All over strength training and cardio including the core. We will be using body weight, bands with handles to begin and work our way up to Barbell. All levels.
